Mel-Slay Beauty is created by Melissa Whiteman, also known as Mel-Slay.   Melissa was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. She always had a passion for hair and makeup, she grew up spending time practicing on mannequins and dolls. Melissa pursued her Masters in Criminal Justice. She found a passion in making wigs and coloring hair. Melissa specializes in natural lace wigs and has mastered making wigs on the sewing machine.
